Worldwide Somali Students to hold a drought fundraising event in UK

A post on their website states:

Worldwide Somali Students is raising funds for the Drought and Ramadhan in order to help alleviate the burden off the internally displaced people back home. There will also be a presentation about WSS and Operation Restore Home 2012. The funds raised will be directed to our members on the ground who will be delivering this humanitarian effort to the people who are most in need. If you’re unable to attend this event, please donate online or at your local bank. The account details below.

Time: 1 – 5pm
Entrance fee: £7.50 per person (all proceeds to Ramadhan and the Drought). Please donate generously.
